Q. What is your capacity?

A. We are able to handle up to 40,000 pound per run. up to lengths of 10 feet.

Q. How much does ICE cryogenic tempering cost?

Q. How long does it take?

A. I.C.E. Cryogenic Tempering can take up to 70 hours to complete. This is not a flash cryo ( 10 to 12 hours ) like some heat treating facilities offer. A -310 F temper is followed by a triple heat temper. Call or email us for more info.

Q. Does cryogenic tempering make my parts brittle?

A. No. The complete opposite. After the I.C.E Cryogenic tempering process is complete parts exhibit higher tensile strength and toughness.

Q. Does cryogenic tempering replace heat treating?

A. No. Cryogenic tempering is a valuable continuation of the heat treating process. Cryogenic tempering takes over where heat treating leaves off.  

Q. Can cryogenic tempering be done on anything?

A.
